At Thomas & King, our Managers and Associates are committed to delivering Great Guest Service.  A Guest recently shared a story with us about her experience at Applebee’s #102 in Lexington, KY.   The team truly made her feel comfortable when dining out is typically not easy for her family.

“I really can't explain the wonderful experience we had at the Nicholasville Rd. Applebee's!  My 4 year old daughter has severe allergies to peanuts and soy products. It is nearly impossible for us to dine out in fear that she might be exposed and have a reaction.  When we do go out to eat I always have to bring a cooler along with her meals in it.  She hates that she can't be like normal kids and go to McDonalds or out to eat at restaurants.  On her last birthday her wish was that she could go out to eat at a restaurant.   We decided to try Applebee's on Nicholasville Rd. yesterday for lunch.  I have to tell you I was completely blown away by our server and the manager.  The manager went through the menu with me and said if there wasn't anything on there that she could eat he would be glad to go get her something somewhere else.  I almost fell out of my chair when he said this. I mean WOW!  I did not expect this kind of service at all.  I was thrilled to learn that Applebee's carries Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.  We ordered that and the manager said he would make sure that her food wouldn't be exposed to anything else.  My daughter was so thrilled!  She was singing and dancing in the booth and had to tell her daddy as soon as he got home the great news she had. She was jumping up and down repeating that she got to go to a restaurant!  This was the first time ever that she wasn't excluded in our dining experience!  You don't know how wonderful it is to know that we can now meet friends at this location and actually have normal dinners at restaurants.   I can't thank you enough for this fantastic dining experience!”
