T&K is all about taking care of the Guests, and we care a lot about what we do. We have fun and enjoy a great sense of teamwork. Every day is like working with family and everyone is happy to be here. There’s a feeling of closeness and support here that you can’t get anywhere else.

You wanna know why I love working for Thomas & King? Because I honestly do! I love the people and I love the fact that they encourage us to do a great job. But most of all, I just love what we do. We have an opportunity every day to meet so many neat people. Where else can you do that? You can’t do that sitting at a desk.

It’s a different atmosphere here. We connect with our customers. There’s also an opportunity to really move up with this company that you don’t get with other restaurants. I’m already getting some bar training, for example. Everyone is really encouraging and helps you to really do well. With what I’ve learned, I make more money but I also feel better about my abilities as a server as well.

The team concept is great! We help each other out whenever possible and try to make new Associates feel right at home. I love working with our Guests and helping them to leave here really happy and wanting to come back and visit us again. I do whatever it takes to meet the needs of our Guests and the feeling that I get for that is a great reward in itself.

I really enjoy my work because T&K values are my values: doing the right thing, Guest First and Quality of Life. The best thing I’ve learned about T&K is that they take care of their people, from the Associates to the Managers to the Guests. I know I’ll never leave! We help each other out and we’re all in this together. The feeling of teamwork is great.
